From my vantage
overlooking the prairie,
the golden orb moves.
From east to west,
from south to north and back,
she speaks of change.
Hourly, Daily, Seasonally, Annually.
Embrace
or resist, she says.
The choice is yours.

Dear Cathy-I feel like crying…this is *exactly* what I needed to read today. So simple-yet so much wisdom packed in. Love the artwork as well. Big hug-Julie

Thank you, Julie! I’m so glad it spoke to you. I woke up this morning with it fully formed in my head. A gift, I think.

Thank you, Brigitte. It’s been a crazy busy (but good) day today. Sorry it has taken me so long to reply! I’m so glad you liked the poem. I’m new to poetry, but it seems to be flowing so I’ve just decided to go with it!
Hugs,
Cathy
