  1. If I looked less like Underdog and more like Salma Hayek, I might have thought of that first.

  4. YES!!! Beautiful picture and great quote! XO

  5. I wanted a witty comment. Searching for Friedrich Hayek beauty brought no quotes at all, so I settle on this: http://www.csun.edu/~dgw61315/dgwhayek.html The Selma v Friedrich scorecard.

The iris is, of course, gorgeous.

Has your beautiful signature style on this, Cathy. I am “beholding” and thinking it’s beautiful. (love the quote).

  7. Gorgeous! Did you choose an iris to represent the “eye” of the beholder deliberately? Very clever. 🙂

  9. My dear Cathy,
It is healing to be here. It feels like being embraced in kindness. And I must tell you that I think your photography is amazing! When did you take it up? Or did I just not notice it before? I am glad, more than glad to know you. So good to be back. So good to be here. With love, Sharon

Thank you, dear Sharon. Yes, I’ve been doing photography for many years, but recently got much more interested in it because of the blog. I have so enjoyed having a place to publish my photos and the blog stimulates creativity in ways that have surprised and delighted me. Next month, I will celebrate the blog’s first year anniversary and I have been fascinated at how it has evolved from my original intent.

Sharon, I adore your photography and your kind words here mean more to me than you can know.
