Thank you, Audra. I shot this one last week, it was especially powerful! Hope you’re enjoying your blogging time-off and thank you so much for taking the time to check this post out!
Cathy
The day I read that from Eckhart Tolle was a major turning point in my life. What liberation! And Cathy, that sunrise is magnificent! I love the richness and depth you’ve captured!! Sharon
Hi Sharon,
Somehow my reply got moved down one! 🙂 I so love Eckhart Tolle’s wisdom and, it’ true, the liberation of knowing that we aren’t our minds so speaks to me. This shot is an HDRI processed with Photomatix – the process that I shared with you on your site. Did you have a chance to check it out? I think you’d love it!
Love,
Cathy
I was thinking how awesome this shot was with the HDRI!!!!!!!! I’m right now at your Haiku post trying to scratch up a haiku for the first time in my life!!! 😀
For, Haiku, yes! But there are no strict rules here. Just give it a shot – you can make up your own rules! Maybe you’ll add poetry to your many talents! 🙂
Thank you, V. I love that particular Monet! And BTW, you don’t strike me as an intellectual lightweight in any way. AND I love cartoons too!. I really liked how the colors came out in this shot too.
Brigitte,
You make me blush, really! Peter has been gently nudging me to offer my photos for sale. Now that I have the new platform for my Energy Healing Course up and running, I’m going to look into that. We’ll see… 🙂
Hope your week is going well. We’re having a wonderful warm, spring day today. I even got out for a run!
Cathy
Thank you, Carrie. Eckhart Tolle is one of my favorite authors for inspiration. Yes, it is sometimes challenging to practice but so worth it! Hope your warm weather is continuing in Ohio. We’ve got a beautiful day here and I’m looking at my seed stash with thoughts of spring and vegetable gardening. I can taste that arugula now!
Thank you, Jennifer. We get some spectacular sunrises here. We live up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and our back deck looks east to the plains so we get to see the sun rise every morning!
Thank you, Frank. I like that. One’s responsibility is to be aware that we’re more than our thoughts and emotions. Always good to see you here, my friend.
Cathy
Thank you, Athena. Eckhart Tolle is one of my favorite writers too. I’ve been thinking about re-reading “A New Earth.” I get something new every time I read it!
I am truly blessed. Thank you, Weebs. I will say that I’m glad the houses in our neighborhood are spaced pretty far apart so my neighbors aren’t subjected to having to watch me set up a tripod on our deck in my pajamas. Then seeing me run back and forth with the memory card as I check the shots on my computer to see if they came out.
what a magnificent sunrise– the blues are spectacular. Thank you for the timely quote and a great way to begin my day Cathy.

It’s all syllables, three lines 5-7-5. Kindof a brain teaser, but fun.

I noticed it sure is a brain teaser alright! 😀 Is the 5-7-5 a strict rule?

The colors in your beautiful photograph, Cathy, brought to mind this Monet:

Pretty good for an intellectual lightweight with an addiction to cartoons, eh?
