Thanks for taking the time to comment and for the retweet, Carrie! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Hope you’re having a great summer! From your last post, it sounds like the healthcare conference was interesting to say the least!
I agree with Audra. Such vibrant color Cathy. Excellent Haiku, too since I never know the names of flowers. You covered a lot of ground in those three lines.
Thank you, Bruce. I only occurred to me later that there was complimentary color thing going here. Thanks for noticing that! Now, I want to get out and find some bugs to shoot. Your photos this week inspired me!
Thank you for your contribution to Macro Monday 2. You are one of the many special people who make this meme a success. Hope to see you again next week!
I love African violets, too. I used to grow them years ago and I loved this one with the variegated leaves and the white edges on the blooms. I loved how the macro showed the fur!
Thank you so much, Christina! I did the watermark in Lightroom which allows you to add it and customize it when exporting photos, but you can also add it manually in either Photoshop Elements or Photoshop by choosing the “text” feature and placing it in the photo wherever you want.
I love your pics! You should contact a fabric manufacturer and design prints for them using your photos…I would start a whole exclusive line of them!

Had to stop by and say hi and tell you how much I love the photo (and the Haiku!) I love purple. That flower practically jumps off the screen. Lovely!
