    This is gorgeous. And yes, this year’s rain has brought a lot of green. Normally our grass is a nice shade of brown by August. This year, it’s still green.

      Thanks, V! I’d love the be the moon’s PR agent, although I’m not sure it needs any help. I was just glad to be able to capture it rising above those huge anvil clouds which were probably getting ready to hammer the eastern plains!

      Yes, Mary. I am truly blessed. It’s a beautiful view. The great thing about it is that it’s City of Fort Collins open space land that will never be built on. So I have an amazing back yard that I don’t actually have to own (and hence pay taxes for)!

    Interesting that you captured sunrise not long ago, yet here (with moon rise) my eyes caught the colors and the clouds, thus almost missing the moon.
