It’s so true, Audra. And truly, these lionfish are beautiful, just not welcome in the Caribbean where they have no predators. But I have to admit, I love photographing them!
Thanks, Brigitte. They are such beautiful creatures, they just do have natural predators in the Caribbean, so their population has exploded! I so love photographing them, though. They move very slowly and they’re magnificent to see!

It’s a Lionfish, Frank. They’re native to the South Pacific and Indian Ocean, but not the Caribbean.
