And the knees… so appropriate for a PT to notice this too. 🙂 The clarity of the pics with the Olloclip is very impressive. I thought perhaps you had moved to a digital camera. Stay warm bees… just a short blast of winter is here.
Oh I have a great DSLR and a wonderful macro lens for that, but the Olloclip is a fabulous substitute when I don’t want to schlep the DSLR around. Thanks, Aileen! Yes, winter is back for a short while. But that’s Colorado, isn’t it? Stay warm, friend!
I think I do see that bee’s knee, Cathy, or is that an elbow? What a great shot and with an iPhone! Like Carrie, I also had to look up dulcifying. William F. Buckley, I am not.
Thanks, V. You’re right, not sure they’re knees or elbows, especially since they have six legs, but they look like knees to me! Yes, the word dulcifying. I must admit I used my Visual Thesaurus, but I was pretty sure I knew what it meant before I checked – since dulce means sweet in Spanish. I think it has Latin roots…
Oh my gosh… I love this one so much Cathy! Lovely Haiku to go with this delightfully busy beauty. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us here. Hugs, Gina
Good question, Frank. I think the photo was harder – these ladies don’t stay still very long! It took some level of patience to get a clear shot! But well worth the effort.
Thanks, Elyse. Yes, I have this cool little lens (about the size of my thumb) called an Olloclip that fits over the camera lens on the iPhone. It has a wide-angle, fisheye and macro lens all in the same package. I keep it in my purse for just such occasions. The fisheye is really neat and since I don’t use a fisheye much, I’ve never been interested in investing in one for my Nikon. But it’s fun to use it on the iPhone. I get my fisheye fix without spending the big bucks!
That’s a terrific idea. I’ve been looking for something like that — but I have an iPhone 5C so I may have to wait! Not that I am much of a photographer, but I do like taking them and keeping them on my phone until I die …
Yes, I’ve been working on getting mine off my phone and onto the computer. Dropbox is the best tool to transfer. And Olloclip makes their 3-in-1 lens for the 5C. And even in colors to match your phone. Here’s the link: https://www.olloclip.com/order/iphone5c/
I love the red, yellow and black of this photo. Very nice!
