Thanks so much, V. It was a great sight from the deck and the moon was cooperative in that it gave me enough time to run downstairs and get my tripod so I could take these shots. I’ll be starting an online course on night photography (hopefully) later this summer so maybe then, I’ll actually know more about what I’m doing!

Hands down the most beautiful moon rise I’ve ever seen, and so fitting the quote you chose. Particularly these words: “to rest gently on the waters of the mysterious universe.” The way you’ve captured the moon shimmering behind wispy clouds makes it look exactly like waves on water to me. Stunning.

Every month, I pause and howl at the full moon (seriously). This photo makes me want to howl now! The blues are so wonderful, the glow of the moon exquisite! Beautiful photo, Cathy.
