  1. Very true, Cathy, but this crowd is so much prettier than the mob scene at rush hour here in NYC.

  3. One of my favorite things, visually, in the ocean is large schools of fish. Sardines are particularly gorgeous! This is one of those photos that I could just stare at for hours… love it! Your photography always makes me day, Cathy!

Cobalt blue makes me happy, C. Great pic and what’s poetry to one may not be poetry to another. Art is subjective and I’m very glad it is.

    Happy New Year!!!

Wow! Were those fish really blue and was the water really that blue, too? Gorgeous.

On first glance (before noticing the fish), interesting texture! … and then I saw the fish providing it. Well done! …. I’m sure you are ready for the latest act of Life: The Musical. 🙂

Thanks, Frank. This huge school produced a very interesting texture. If only I could capture the feeling of seeing it approaching, then surrounding me and then fading into the blue. Alas, all I can do is share the moment when they came close.

I was going to say the same thing about “motion”, but I see a few others have beat me to it. There is something so astonishing about this particular photo that it seems almost like an illusion. It would make an awesome shower curtain! 🙂
