Weekly Photo Challenge – Early Bird

Morning on the Prairie

Morning on the Prairie

I love sunrises, and I am so blessed to live in a place where they are so beautiful. Here’s a shot of Kathy Fromme Prairie Open Space on the south side of Fort Collins, Colorado taken from my deck!

Taken from your deck? Wow, how gorgeous. Don’t worry. I’m not jealous at all. No, not at all… πŸ˜‰

Beautiful Cathy! Hope you’re well. Never see you at my place. I’m sad. Kidding. Not that I’m putting you on the spot or anything. Kidding again.

Have a GREAT weekend and look forward to more of your view of the world. ;).

Hey Brigitte. I’ve been to your place recently. I was really busy last week and truthfully have been saving your post to comment on when I had the time. Also strangely, I got an email notification for a wonderful post you did about love but when I went to comment last week, it wasn’t on your site. Thanks, as always, for your comments and I’m glad you enjoyed the shot. Hope you’re having a great Sunday!

  9. Thanks for sharing your sweet view at daybreak, Cathy. I love sunrise in theory, but in practice, I’d rather catch more z’s.

A view like that would probably get even me to leave my warm bed in time to catch the sunrise. Gorgeous!

That is some view you have there. Lucky you! Another stunning photo, Cathy. I’m with Lee — if I had a sunrise view like that, I might be tempted to get up for it, too.

It is definitely a great view, Mary. Our house also has lots of wonderful large windows (as one would hope for in a location like this, right?), so it’s hard to miss these sunrises to the east! πŸ™‚ It’s the first thing I see when I come in the kitchen every morning. So grateful!

  14. Spectacular… no early bird will catch a worm, with this view, to distract. Stunning!

Thanks, Dawn. Too funny about the early birds. Actually I have a raised bed vegetable garden full of earthworms (a good sign of healthy soil) and we get robin flash mobs fairly often. One day I looked out and saw about 20 of them sitting on the edges of the beds listening. It took me a few seconds to figure out what they were doing. Need to get a shot of that sometime! πŸ™‚
