Haha! I bet you thought I was going to post an underwater shot, didn’t you? Not today!
I love the beauty of our planet and here’s another shot that I’ll be displaying at my first show of the season in two weeks. It’s really quite dramatic printed on metal!

Gorgeous. I love its color and its delightful shape and silkiness. The color, and that so much of it is still an unfurled promise for the future, remind me of the innocence of youth.

Very beautiful Cathy. Is this a testament to Mom’s Day? There is a significance to the color of the rose on that day – at least in the South.
As usual you have put your signature style on your art. I’d love to see your showing. Have a happy Mom’s Day. All my children have paws. 😍

Happy Mother’s Day to you, Brigitte! Yes, I did think of Mother’s Day when I posted this and I am familiar with the significance of the color, although I didn’t think of that particular importance when I did so.
At least the in part of the South where I come from, wearing a white rose on Mother’s Day signifies that one’s mother is being remembered as she is no longer in the physical plane, and that would be true for me. I have lots of happy memories of my Mom, and one of those is that she loved flowers – especially roses. Thank you for reminding me about the color, Brigitte!

You did surprise me, Cathy, but what a stunning surprise! All the best with your show. I’ve wondered about prints on metal. Yours is a winner.
